yeah. it's finally done. and you know what? i blew it! hahaha. i actually thought that chemistry is CLOSELY related to chemical engineering. well, it's not. and because i don't actually have a background about this course/degree program, i had a hard time answering why i chose chemical engineering.
dean: what is your idea of chemical engineering? ako: uhm.. structures... dean: structures? why, that's for civil.. ako: structures of chemicals.. you know, how they are binded by certain factors and things and probably the application of all of these. dean: [laughs] ok, it seems that you don't have an idea. why did you choose it? ako: well, i'm pretty good in chemistry. and i think it's my field of specialization. dean: saying that chemistry and chemical engineering are closely related is a misnomer.
see. i'm not really good at selling myself. and it's a miracle if i get chosen. good thing, i have someone to share my "embarassment" with. he had the same answer. we both died of embarassment because of that "killer" question. oh well, if i pass, it's a good thing. if i don't, then i don't. it's my fault after all. at least, i did my best.
